Huddersfield Town 3-1 Reading FC: Player Ratings

Vicci Elliot runs the rule over the players at the John Smith's Stadium as Reading suffered a heavy defeat to the Terriers.

Ali Al-Habsi: 6

Probably at fault (along with Taylor) for first goal however did pull off a couple of crucial saves when the game was goalless.

Chris Gunter: 5

Wasn't up to his usual standard. Did make a couple of runs down the wing. Not sure being captain has helped his game.

Michael Hector: 6

I felt he had decent performance in first half. Did what he needed to do but nothing special.

Jake Cooper: 5

Again nothing special.

Andrew Taylor: 5

Was pretty solid up to his moment of madness. Flew into a couple of rash tackles late on, through frustration I feel.

Danny Williams: 5

At times ran at the defence but at others seemed disinterested.

George Evans: 4

Didn't seem to be in the game much. Did have a wild shot in first half. Lacks experience at this level.

Garath McCleary: 6

Slowly getting back to the old G-Mac but lacked support at times. Possibly denied a penalty.

Lucas Piazon: 4

Showed a couple of moments of class but wasn't his type of game.

Deniss Rakels: 5

Looked up for it however marked out of the game.

Yann Kermorgant: 5

Lacked the ball in the right place to be able to show the class he did at Charlton.

Substitutes

Ola John: 7

Definitely made a difference to the attack and his goal was special.

Simon Cox: 6

Didn't see the target but did seem to try hard and wanted the ball.

Josh Barrett: N/A

Not enough time to make a difference but seemed composed on the ball.
