Another last-minute winner saw Reading lose at fellow mid-table Leeds United. Michael Hector had put Reading in the lead before half time, but Diagouraga equalised a few minutes after the break. Chris Wood put the home side ahead on 69 minutes, completing a come back. The Royals thought they'd secured a late point when Deniss Rakels scored his second goal for Reading with nine minutes to go. However, Chris Wood netted his second of the game five minutes before time.
The result drops Reading to 15th in the league, with the hosts Leeds United climbing to 12th - the position the Royals would have taken with three points at Elland Road.
It's a gutting result for Reading but, after the mid-week loss at Middlesbrough, it seems a little less surprising than it would have. For me, it's representative of our season as a whole - show some really good signs, but ultimately lose out due to a lack of mental strength.
How Twitter reacted

@TheTilehurstEnd some of our fanbase are massively overreacting, Brian will get it right but needs time, at least the whole of next season

Thought #readingfc actually played well today and were the better team. Just awful defending at times though, should never have lost.
