Reading manager Brian McDermott has no fresh injury concerns for the visit of Hull City. Defender Paul McShane and midfielder Danny Williams (suspended) are still unavailable after their on-field confrontation.

Reading come into this one on the back of three consecutive defeats, the latest of which came at Elland Road on Saturday in a five goal thriller that saw the Royals take the lead, only to fall behind mid-way through the second half, before Deniss Rakels’ equaliser was again cancelled out as Chris Wood sealed the win for Leeds on 85 minutes.

Brian McDermott must now pick his team up and hope they can rely on a somewhat solid home record (two defeats in the last 13 at home) to get back to winning ways against the higher-placed Tigers.

Hull boss Steve Bruce will choose from an unchanged squad as the Tigers push for an automatic promotion spot. Defender Michael Dawson (calf) and forward Mo Diame (thigh) remain sidelined.

Hull City have struggled away from home in recent matches, without a win in four with three defeats and one draw. Their last away match against Huddersfield saw the Tigers concede a 90th minute goal which saw them on the brink of defeat only for Abel Hernandez to bag an equaliser deep into stoppage time.

Steve Bruce’s men sit in fourth position in the table, ten points off the second automatic promotion place having played a game less than their closest rivals. In their last match at home to Wolves, Robert Snodgrass’ deflected free-kick secured a much needed win in the third minute of stoppage time to keep Hull ahead of Derby in fifth.
