Ali Al Habsi - Your March 2016 Player Of The Month

In March, the Royals came oh so close to a second trip to Wembley in two years. If it hadn't been for Ali Al Habsi, the FA Cup Quarter Final tie against Crystal Palace would long have been over before that controversial penalty was awarded in the 85th minute. Perhaps it was that performance which swung it, or maybe it was his generally consistent displays across the whole month, but Al Habsi has taken 57% of your votes and with it, March's Player Of The Month award.

It was a close fought battle for second, with Ola John just edging out Michael Hector, the pair receiving 23% and 21% of your votes respectively.

It's now up to Al Habsi to ensure he gains the confidence of Brian McDermott and keeps the shirt for next year... and retains your support next month - as you'll see below, every player to have picked one up so far this campaign has followed up at least once!
