On the same the day that the Mirror have reported that Aaron Tshibola is on his way to Norwich, the newspaper also claim that there'll be one coming IN to the Madejski Stadium soon too, as Jaap Stam has allegedly made a move for Manchester United's Tyler Blackett on loan.
The new boss of course spent three years of his playing career at Old Trafford, which could be why this rumour has surfaced, or is there some truth in it?
Blackett, who can play at centre-back or full-back, had loan spells at Blackpool and Birmingham City before becoming one of the first youngsters to be given a chance under former boss Louis van Gaal in the 2014-15 season as the Red Devils found themselves lacking defenders. In his 12 Premier League appearances, he got sent off in a 5-3 defeat to Leicester City and scored an own goal in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.
In 2015-16 the 22 year old went on loan to Celtic, but his time in Scotland was disappointing as he made just three league starts. Other young defenders at Manchester United have overtaken him in the pecking order as a result, whilst the arrival of Eric Bailly means that Blackett is probably nowhere near Jose Mourinho's thoughts for next season.
With just a year left on his contract, you might think that they'd rather sell him permanently than let him go out on loan again, but only time will tell where Blackett will end up. Do you want his destination to be Berkshire? Let us know your thoughts on the rumour in the comments below.
