Brian McDermott Approval Rating - Final Results

We asked you how you rated Brian McDermott's time in charge - and the results show you weren't satisfied in his second spell at the helm.

First up, a bit of clarification - we actually started this poll on the 25th of May, and McDermott was relieved of his duties just two days later. Nevertheless we've collated the results and you gave Brian just 2.66 out of 5 for the five or so months he was in charge. That was actually a higher rating than you gave him at the end of his first month (2.55 out of 5), but hardly a glowing endorsement that the fans were fully behind him. Of course, that was obvious from the start, with battles across social media and lines drawn in the ground from the outset, but it's clear that McDermott did little to win over the fans who were skeptical to begin with.

As a point of interest, I thought it would be interesting to compare the ratings you gave Steve Clarke when he was shown the door. Clarke's final approval rating was 2.71 out of 5, just a tad higher than the mark given to McDermott. That was also the first time in his year-long reign that the Scot dipped below a rating of 3 - in contrast, Brian only made it above that mark once (at the end of February).

As ever, thanks for your votes - results are below, as are the final tallies from the previous polls we've run. We'll be getting your thoughts on the owners soon - that promises to be an interesting vote, to say the least...
