Reading FC In 2016/17: Your Predictions & Expectations

Championship football returns this week folks and we want to know how YOU think it's going to go for Reading FC in 2016/17.

Championship winners? Relegation fodder? Or somewhere in between? Is Deniss Rakels going to be a goal machine? Will Joey van den Berg's reputation as a dirty player be proven right? We want to know your thoughts on how the campaign is going to pan out.

Simply copy these headers and paste them into the comments section with your thoughts and put your money where your mouth is!

We'll revisit the predictions at the end of the campaign and the person who gets closest overall with their predictions will win a TTE related prize.

(Please feel free to say A.N Other if you fancy a new signing will win any category below)

Final league position
Top three goalscorers (In order for bonus points...)
Number of clean sheets
Most appearances
Dirtiest player (most yellow & red cards)
Player of the season
Most improved player

Expectations

Along with your predictions for the coming season, we also asked you a series of questions to try and found out Reading fans expectations for 2016/2017.

The results show that whilst two thirds of fans think mid-table is where Reading will finish, a similar number think promotion and the top half is more likely than relegation and the bottom half. It seems pre-season optimism means fans are still looking upwards.

Which is more likely?

Promotion - 61.7%

Relegation - 38.3%

Top Half - 62.8%

Bottom Half - 37.2%

Where will Reading finish?

1-8 - 24.1%

9-16 - 65.3%

17-24 - 10.6%

Will Jaap Stam still be manager at the end of the season?

Yes - 88.1%

No - 11.9%
