Transfer deadline day at Reading FC was traditionally uninteresting. The club rarely got business done, the Sky cameras completely ignored Junction 11 of the M4 and Loyal Royals were left to feed off scraps of information from less reliable media outlets.
That is until a few years ago when lovable rogue Jacob South Klein became an icon by hiding in a bush outside the Madejski Hotel, hoping to grab some fresh information. There was that iconic photo of JSK and Nigel Adkins. Then there was the sighting of Ola John, Vydra, and others.
Essentially, #Bushwatch isn't just entertainment, it's infotainment.
So we're delighted it's back.
Update: the DHL man has pulled up. No human-shaped packages.— Jacob South Klein (@JacobSouthKlein) January 31, 2017
Your chance to say thanks
JSK tweeted a few days ago that he's trialling extending #Bushwatch beyond just hiding in a bush and looking a bit creepy. We'll let his tweets do the talking.
If you've ever wanted to go a little bit further supporting #BushWatch, by buying me a drink etc, now is your chance. It's totally optional.— Jacob South Klein (@JacobSouthKlein) January 26, 2017
