All Tickets £5 For Burton Home Fixture

All we can say is that this is absolutely superb.

Having become the first Football League team to buy into the Twenty Plenty’s scheme, having subsidised tickets for an FA Cup trip to Manchester United and having provided free coach travel to Sheffield United, Reading Football Club are back at it again with another superb initiative for fans.

With the Royals set to celebrate 500 games at the Madejski Stadium when they walk out against Burton Albion on Saturday 23rd December, the lovely folk behind the scenes have decided to charge supporters just 500p per ticket for the clash. In other words, just £5.

Yes, do not adjust your screen, you read that correctly. All fans, no matter what stand they are in or how old they are will pay only five Great British pounds to get into the ground. That’s an eighth of the price Leeds United charged visiting supporters in mid-October.

Don’t worry if you’re a season holder, the club haven’t forgotten about you! If you attend then 50 Royals Rewards points will be added onto your card, with an additional 500 points being awarded to 500 random fans on the day.

This is why we love our football club.
