With Reading 2-0 up with less than ten minutes to play on Monday night against Cardiff, those who had predicted a home win were probably smugly smiling at their optimism. Yet victory over the high-flying Bluebirds was not to be, with two late goals meaning it ended up 2-2 at the Madejski Stadium. The draw was correctly predicted by six people, with one guess getting the scoreline spot on too - congratulations must go to MickeyTaker on that front. Unsurprisingly, there were no predictions that Callum Paterson’s own goal would open the scoring, but the updated leaderboard is below.
This weekend, Reading travel to Ipswich Town, who started the season in fantastic form but now find themselves in ninth. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point as does a correct first goalscorer.
To get the ball rolling, I’m going for another 2-2 draw, with Mo Barrow being the first goalscorer.
Good luck!
