The Tilehurst End Prediction League 17/18: Matchday 20 - Sunderland (A)

Surely Reading won’t be the first side that the Black Cats beat at home in 2017?

We were a confident bunch ahead of the Barnsley game on Tuesday night, with 13 people all correctly predicting a Reading win against the Yorkshire side. No one was confident enough to go for a 3-0 victory though, which was of course the final scoreline, whilst there weren’t any correct guesses for the first goalscorer either - Dave Edwards’ first Madejski Stadium goal came as a bit of a surprise. The updated leaderboard is below.

This weekend, the Royals travel up to Sunderland, who haven’t won at home at all in 2017, so we all know what that means will happen. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point as does a correct first goalscorer.

To get the ball rolling, I think the score will be 1-0 to Reading, with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson being the first goalscorer.

Good luck!
