Unsurprisingly, not many people were confident going into the Boxing Day trip to Bristol City, which ended up in a 2-0 victory for the Robins. A Reading defeat was correctly predicted by 10 people, with half of those also getting the scoreline spot on - myself, Glorygerbil, ShiplakeAl, MickeyTaker and Fylde coast royal. There were also two correct guesses of Jamie Paterson to score the first goal, including from ShiplakeAl, meaning he takes maximum points. The updated leaderboard is below.
The Royals’ final game of 2017 sees them visit Barnsley, a side who they beat 3-0 at home in November. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point as does a correct first goalscorer.
To get the ball rolling, I’m going for a 1-1 draw, with Tom Bradshaw being the first goalscorer.
Good luck!
