April was a very strange month for Reading fans, who had to deal with national humiliation after a 7-1 beating at Norwich but also got to witness some key wins over Aston Villa and Leeds. Yet the overriding emotion has to be one of pride, as Reading look almost certain to clinch a play-off spot and their best league finish since winning the Championship five years ago.
With that in mind, it's not surprising to see happiness with Jaap Stam at an all-time high, with an average of 4.33/5. That's not only the best score for the Dutchman, but also the best score you've EVER given to a Reading boss, since we began tracking approval ratings in February 2015.
Here's the results in full.
So 44% of you think he can't be doing any better as a manager, which is up from 21% back in March. Personally I'd still give him a 4 (that's closer to 4.5) simply on the basis of not being able to stop these away-day humiliations. However, I can't really fault those who have given Stam that best possible mark. As for those two people who gave him a 1/5? Hi Mr Monk! Hi Mr Warnock!
Thanks for all of your votes!
Here's the ratings history before this month's results.
