We may just have located former Reading midfielder Aaron Kuhl, folks.
It looks like he's on trial at Stjarnan FC, the club that finished 3rd in the Icelandic Premier Division last season and went viral a number of years back because of their extraordinary celebrations.
According to Fótbolti.net (and retweeted by Kuhl himself), the academy graduate is on trial and could seal a deal once the transfer window opens on July 15.
From what I can understand, Starjnan midfielder Heidar Aegisson is going to school in America, and so the club has a defensive midfield spot opening up that could be perfect for young Aaron.
Interestingly enough, there is already a Reading link with FC Strjarnan because former midfield general Brynjar Gunnarsson is the assistant manager.
If Kuhl does seal a deal, he could be appearing in the Europa League — if the club qualify. They play Shamrock Rovers over two legs, with the first this Thursday.
Needless to say, everyone at The Tilehurst End wish him all the best in his endeavour to find a new club and wish him all the best in his career.
Hat tip to @Daveoflogic, where I first spotted this story.
