In case anyone thought Reece Oxford was due to stick around the Madejski Stadium for another season, think again.

The West Ham youngster's January loan move to Berkshire seemed to make perfect sense at the time but poorly-timed injuries and a few middling performances (his last was the 7-1 loss at Norwich) made Jaap Stam's mind up pretty quickly.

Now, according to HITC, the 18-year-old is due for a season-long spell in Germany with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.

Tanner Moves Beyond The Wall

Another man who won't be spotted around these parts anytime soon is Craig Tanner, the attacking midfielder signing a two-year deal at SPFL side Motherwell on Monday.

Many had expected Tanner to continue at Plymouth, where he's spent the last couple of seasons on loan, but after his Reading contract expired an agreement was reached to head to Scotland and we wish him the best of luck here at TTE Towers.

Bond to the Bescot?

League One club Walsall are after a new goalkeeper after custodian Neil Etheridge agreed to join Cardiff. Express & Star link the Royals' back-up Jonathan Bond with the spot.

However, no indication is given over whether a move would be temporary or permanent, although one suspects the former.
