The exodus of young, not-quite-up-to-it players looks set to continue at some point over the next day or so, as Yakou Meite is set to head to FC Sochaux on loan.
Rumours of the move have been circulating in French media for the past few days, but a recent snap sent from the former PSG man has (pretty much) confirmed those rumours as true.

FC Sochaux are in the French second division (Ligue 2), and finished the 2016/17 season in 13th place in the 20-team league.
Meite will be hoping he'll get far more game time at his loan club, as he played a meagre 254 minutes in the Championship last season, with a handful more coming in the EFL Cup and EFL Trophy.
In those minutes, he looked like he had something about him, but Stam clearly thinks a move away and guaranteed game time will improve his young charge while he sets about pushing for another promotion push.
The move comes as Reading have sold other young players like Tariqe Fosu and Niall Keown, while seeing Craig Tanner, Jack Stacey and Stuart Moore released at the end of their contracts. Stam's stamping his mark on his side.
