After last season’s exploits, Yann Kermorgant has already solidified his place as a fan favourite at Reading. However, he’s been in the news today for a display for pure class off the pitch during last night’s win over Aston Villa.

Still recovering from hip and groin surgery that took place during the summer break, the 35 year-old watched Reading’s 2-1 victory at the Madejski Stadium alongside Debbie Eggleton’s daughter Millie (below).

Debbie said on Twitter:

“Would just like to add he didn't sit with her just because she's disabled. Her and Yann have a special bond,he knows she adores him x.”

“He promised my daughter he would sit with her and he kept his promise. He's a top bloke and my girl adores him. I have total respect for him.”

“She loved every second of it”.

It’s great to see that Millie had a terrific evening - not only meeting Yann Kermorgant but also watching Reading pick up a fantastic win!

And to Yann, you’re a gentleman.
