The Tilehurst End Prediction League 17/18: Matchday 4 - Preston North End (A)

Deepdale has not been a happy hunting ground in recent years for Reading, but do you think the Royals can come away with a win this time around?

Reading got their first league win of the campaign on Tuesday night by beating Aston Villa 2-1, which also saw the points flooding in in the Prediction League for the first time this season too. 26 people correctly guessed that the Royals would claim victory, with nine of those getting the scoreline spot on to receive two points - myself, KildareRoyal, JackRonan, EthanRFC_, Luke Rogers1.fcl, Charlie RFC, The RFC Vlogger and Jake RFC. Unsurprisingly, no one predicted that a Glenn Whelan own goal would open the scoring, but the updated leaderboard is below.

This weekend, Jaap Stam's side face Preston North End at Deepdale, a ground they have not won at since 2009. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point as does a correct first goalscorer.

I think the score will be 0-0, so obviously no first goalscorer. This series is of course done alongside Reading FC Away Days, and by watching James’ video on YouTube, you can find out what he thinks will happen.

Good luck!
