It's nearing transfer deadline day, hands up who is excited? This window has shown that the Championship is now as bonkers as the Premier League.

Remember the days of Greg Halford and Emerse Fae? These guys were signed for a lot of money with little in return, apart from lots of problems. Well 10 years later, Chris Wood is worth £15 million.

We’ve finally signed Sone Aluko for "undisclosed amount". In others words, we don't want to tell you how much we paid. This is because as a fan you will go ballistic, or as an opposition fan you will laugh your socks off at how much we wasted.

I do think he will bring the ‘X factor’ to the team though.

I have been very impressed with the club's other efforts this summer. Like with Liam Moore and Stam, the club stuck to their guns with the Aluko deal. Fingers crossed the same happens with Nelson Olivera.

Elsewhere, Vito Mannone has settled so quickly, it feels like he has been here for ages. Bodvarsson got off the mark vs. Birmingham. He looks very comfortable in the way we play. Barrow has the feel of Jimmy Kebe about him, he's quick, exciting to watch and slightly frustrating! Clement will continue to learn and develop his game over the season.

Wolves fans have huge respect for Dave Edwards, he will bring a lot to the club on and off the pitch. Bacuna didn't seem to get Villa fans feeling the same way, but a promising start bodes well for his Royals career.

Del Boy and Rodney might even have a few more surprises in their suitcase for us. Glen Johnson or Conor McGregor anyone? I predict the most insane deadline day in its short history. The TV people will go into complete meltdown.

They are talking about ending the transfer window before the season starts. Maybe it would be a good thing? Managers having to go with the squads they have at the time? However it has to be across the world for it to work, so therefore highly unlikely.

Bushwatch would be nowhere near as much fun either! I’m off to strap myself into my favourite chair, ready for the madness to begin!!
