Paul Clement Approval Rating: October 2018

We want your feedback on the Royals’ gaffer.

We’re now well into the 2018/19 season, and we want to know how good or bad a job you think Paul Clement is doing not only with another approval rating, but also an in/out poll (sorry Paul). We’ve now got a good chunk of results to dig into to properly judge his record at the Madejski Stadium but, unfortunately for Clement, those results have been bad. Very bad.

Since our last manager approval rating Reading have played nine games, winning only three of them - 3-2 at Preston, 3-0 at home to Hull City and 3-1 over Millwall. We’ve also seen home defeats to QPR and Norwich City, losses at West Brom, Birmingham City and Swansea City, and the 2-2 at Brentford. Those results have seen the Royals hovering dangerously around the relegation zone, bar a brief flirtation with 19th following the Millwall win.

To be fair to Clement, injuries haven’t been kind to the team, with key men Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Saeid Ezatolahi rocking the side’s rhythm. The manager’s supporters will likely also point to the serious problems at the club both on and off the pitch that pre-date Clement’s arrival and are arguably outside his control.

So, where do you stand on Paul Clement? Below, we’ve got two questions for you; not just just our normal 1-5 approval ranking, but also a straightforward in/out poll to see how many of you would like to see the manager replaced.

Fill both of them out, get all your friends, neighbours, co-workers, family and pets to fill them out too, and we’ll release the results in a few days’ time.

For each poll, tick the option you want then press ‘submit’.
