The Tilehurst End Prediction League 17/18: Matchday 35 - Bolton Wanderers (H)

Do you think Reading can come out on top in this crucial clash with fellow strugglers Bolton?

With Reading’s trip to Molineux at the weekend postponed due to snow and ice, the points from last Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat to Sheffield United were never revealed. Three people correctly predicted that it would be the Blades who would come out on top, although no one got the scoreline spot on. In addition, there were also three right guesses that former Royal Billy Sharp would score the game’s first goal. The updated leaderboard is below.

This evening brings what is potentially the most crucial game of Reading’s season so far, as Bolton Wanderers visit the Madejski Stadium. Phil Parkinson’s side, who have played one more game than us, currently sit on the same points total, just a position lower on goal difference. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point, as does a correct first goalscorer.

To get the ball rolling, I’m going for a 1-0 win to Reading, with John Swift being the first goalscorer.

Good luck!
