Most of the signs pointed towards a Reading win over Sunderland last weekend, so unsurprisingly that’s what most people went for in the Prediction League. Of course it ended up being a disappointing, yet entertaining 2-2 draw in Berkshire. Only two people correctly guessed that the points would be shared between the Royals and the Black Cats, but were not spot on with the scoreline. In addition, there was one right prediction of Liam Kelly to score the game’s first goal. The updated leaderboard is below.
Reading’s penultimate away trip of the campaign sees them visit Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, with the Owls having pulled themselves away from the relegation battle in the last month or so. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point, as does a correct first goalscorer.
To get the ball rolling, I’m going for a 1-1 draw, with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson being the first goalscorer.
