Liam Moore Voted Your Reading FC Player Of The Month For February

It’s the second time he’s won the monthly award this season.

In the tightest vote so far this season, Liam Moore has won March’s Player of the Month award, with 35% of you deciding that the defender was effectively the best of a bad bunch in another largely miserable month for Reading.

It is the second time that Moore has won the accolade this campaign after also picking it up in September, and despite not being at his best all of the time, one might suggest that it was his performance in the Royals’ only win of the month against QPR that made him the most popular choice amongst fans. The 25-year-old, who always wears his heart on his sleeve, was a key part of the team’s mammoth defensive effort to protect the 1-0 lead against the Fake Hoops. He made seven blocks, seven clearances and two interceptions, characterising Reading’s backs to wall defending.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson finished second in the vote with 33% (we told you it was close!), whilst Liam Kelly rounded off the top three with 25%.
