After Paul Clement recorded a win in his first game in charge last Friday, reality hit home on Tuesday evening as Reading fell to a 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa. Eight people had correctly predicted that it would be the Midlands side that would take all three points, but Glorygerbil was the only one to get the scoreline spot on. There were no correct guesses of Birkir Bjarnason to be the game’s first goalscorer. The updated leaderboard is below.
This weekend, the Royals host Preston North End, who despite losing their previous two games, remain very much in the play-off mix. All you have to do is guess the score of the game and say who you think will score the first goal in the comments below. A correct score earns two points, a correct result earns one point, as does a correct first goalscorer.
To get the ball rolling, I’m going for a 1-1 draw, with Sean Maguire being the first goalscorer.
Good luck!
