It’s two player of the month awards in a row for Liam Moore, as you have voted him as your top performer in April and May.

The 25-year-old racked up 54% of the ballot to pick up his third monthly award of the campaign, whilst his centre-back partner Tiago Ilori came second with 38%. Behind them as always (yes that is a very poor positional joke), Vito Mannone was third with 8%.

It was an impressive final few weeks of the 2017/18 campaign for Liam Moore, who has undoubtedly been the best performer since Paul Clement has arrived in Berkshire. Always on hand to make an important block, tackle or clearance, he is a commanding, imposing figure at the back and is already being touted as future captain. The former Leicester man picked up four out of the seven TTE man of the match awards in April/May, and was also named the club’s official Player of the Season. It is vital that Reading keep hold of him this summer.
