Reading fans have voted Ovie Ejaria their November Player of the Month after the midfielder continued his excellent standards in a solid few weeks of Mark Bowen.

Early wins over Millwall and Luton saw the Liverpool loanee bag a second assist and third goal of the season. He then kept open his bag of tricks in battling defeats versus Brentford and Leeds before missing the trip to Wigan through illness.

We asked you to pick from our four highest rated players of the month; Ejaria, Sam Baldock, Michael Morrison and John Swift. Baldock and Morrison shared 13 per cent of the vote each with Swift coming in at 32 per cent, just behind the victor’s 41 per cent.

Should Swift have won, it would have maintained a trend of trading the award between Reading’s star central midfielders. Ejaria took the honour in August before Swift claimed September, October going back to the loanee who now also has November under his belt.

There are fears he could miss Saturday’s game with Birmingham with the same illness sidelining him for the 3-1 win at Wigan. Luckily, Mark Bowen has confirmed he’s back in the mix.

“From the weekend Ovie Ejaria had a bug and we knew it’d be two or three days. He travelled with us but didn’t sleep well so he went back Saturday morning. But he’s well now and fit, trained this morning and is ready to go.”

Here’s to another month in Ovie’s world!
