Reading are out of the League Cup after a home defeat to Luton Town on Tuesday night.

The Hatters struck in the first half through Jordan Clark, who met a deep cross from the left to power a strong header into the far side of the goal past Luke Southwood. Although the Royals had most of the ball - 59% - they couldn’t make it count in either half and Luton ‘keeper James Shea was barely troubled.

Veljko Paunovic had put out a very experimental side, completely rotating out the XI that started at Derby County on Saturday. Coming in were a number of squad fringe players and youngsters from the academy, with three making their debut.

Lewis gave his take on all the action in a video for our YouTube channel, which you can watch just below. Elsewhere, Harry has our player ratings and Sophie wrapped up Pauno’s post-match quotes.
