Luke Southwood: 7

Another decent performance from Southwood, including a fantastic double save in the first half. Didn’t really have a chance with their goals although nearly saved the penalty.

Andy Yiadom: 6

Pretty anonymous, one strong run forward late in the second half but not quite up to his usual standard.

Liam Moore: 4

The poor grade isn’t so much for his performance, which did include one or two strong blocks, but his utter lack of leadership. The second half was crying out for some leadership or composure, which was non-existent from the ‘captain’.

Scott Dann: 7

Solid and assured. Cleared a number of crosses but potentially caught out for their second. Still looks an astute signing.

Baba Rahman: 5

Looked a good attacking option down the left but nothing really came off. Caught out of position a couple of times, including the second goal.

Josh Laurent: 5

A poor evening for Laurent who did manage an assist. The midfield was totally overrun in the second half. Failed to break up the play or make an impact going towards.

Danny Drinkwater: 5

Gave the ball away far too many times. Tried to be creative but just one of those evenings where nothing came off. Large drop-off from Saturday, but he isn’t alone there.

Tom Dele-Bashiru: 6

Hard to be too critical given he’s playing out of position, but hardly in the game. Took his goal nicely.

John Swift: 6

Quiet evening for Swift. Another assist and a wonderful through ball for Puscas, otherwise hardly in the game.

Ovie Ejaria: 5

If Ovie Ejaria had an end product he would have been playing in the Champions League tonight. Slow and wasteful, oddly did make a fantastic last-ditch challenge to save a goal in the first half.

George Puscas: 4

Where do I start? In fairness Puscas did work hard which led to the second goal, however he is utterly bereft of confidence. Missed a one on one at 2-0 which would’ve surely sealed the three points. May never score again.

Subs

Femi Azeez: 6

Looked bright but largely ineffective.

Jahmari Clarke: N/A

Not on long enough to make an impact - did he have a touch!?
