Simon Church - Huddersfield (Championship) Appearances: 2 Goals: 1
Churchy got off the mark in just his second game on loan at Huddersfield, scoring on his home debut in a 2-1 defeat to Brighton. The reaction to the game on Huddersfield's forums was mostly negative but there was some comments that Church was fairly anonymous but would take time to get up to speed. Whatever the case, one goal and one assist in two matches is a decent return from somebody who's hardly played first team football this year.
******
Joseph Mills - Burnley (Championship) Appearances: 8
Mills came out of the wilderness to earn a spot on the bench against Charlton, though he never made it on to the pitch.
*****
Mikkel Andersen - Portsmouth (League 1) Appearances: 18
Andersen couldn't prevent Pompey slipping to a sixth straight defeat as Doncaster took all three points at Fratton Park. Andersen won't be delighted with his role in the goal, as hesitation between himself and former Royal Brian Howard allowed Iain Hume to nip in and score.
*****
Michael Hector - Shrewsbury (League 1) Appearances: 9
As we reported last week, Big Hec is back training with the Royals and although still eligible to play for the Shrews, he wasn't included in their squad for their 1-0 win over Crewe this weekend.
****
Gozie Ugwu - Yeovil (League 1) Appearances: 4 (+8) Goals: 3
Gozie earned some playing time for Reading's U21 side against Everton at the weekend, giving him such much needed minutes after a recent hamstring injury. He'll have to fight his way back into a Yeovil team that already has plenty of loanees but hopefully he can get back to form and back in the side.
*****
Lawson D'Ath - Cheltenham (League 2) Appearances: 2 Goals: 1
No update on D'Ath's injury timetable, as Cheltenham assistant manager Neil Howarth commented on his situation.
"Lawson (D'ath) won't be fit and we need to speak to Reading regarding his situation to see when he will be fit or whether we'll be able to keep him on loan so that's something to keep our eye on.
*****
Karl Sheppard - Accrington (League 2) Appearances: 7(+5) Goals: 1
Sheppard missed Accrington's 1-1 draw with Barnet and the recent signing of James Beattie will have done his first team chances no good at all.
*****
Brett Williams - Woking (Conference Premier) Appearances: 5(+9) Goals: 2
GOAL!
I like to think that after I commented that Williams was perhaps one of the worst signings we've made, he has now set about on a crusade to prove me wrong and that crusade has started with a goal. Williams was given just a fifth start this season and repaid his manager's faith by scoring his second goal of the season. Sadly it wasn't enough to prevent a 2-1 defeat but it would have come as a great relief for Williams to get a goal and 90 minutes under his belt.
*****
Ben Jefford - Boreham Wood (Conference South) Appearances: 2 Goals: 1 (Appearance data from 06/11/12)
Ben Jefford put in a high quality performance as he helped Boreham Wood beat Nicky Forster's Dover 1-0 at the weekend. Jefford was excellent in defence and scored the winning goal to give Wood all three points.
*****
Matt Partridge - Bognor Regis (Isthmian League - Premier Division) Appearances: 5
No news on the injury that Partridge picked up last week but it was enough to keep him out of Bognor's 2-1 defeat by Lowestoft.
