*****
Michael Hector
Aldershot (League 2) Appearances: 2
Hector played 90 minutes for the Shots as they drew 1-1 with Oxford on Saturday. Hector was again deployed in the centre of the midfield and earned this summary from an Aldershot fan in their post match ratings
real mixed bag from Michael. Showed some good skills in turning away from opponents in the middle of the park and was always involved. The down side was that he sometimes displayed a lack of composure in his passing, too often opting for the hopeful ball. But when he settles down and gains in confidence, I feel that side of his game will improve. I was encouraged.
****
Gozie Ugwu - Yeovil (League 1) Appearances: 5 (+9) Goals: 3
Ugwu was twice named as an unused sub for Yeovil this week, seeing his side progress into the area semi-finals of the Football League Trophy before a 0-0 draw with Notts County in the league.
*****
Lawson D'Ath - Cheltenham (League 2) Appearances: 2 Goals: 1
D'Ath was also an unused substitute this week, watching from the dugout as Cheltenham came from 2-0 down to win at Northampton.
*****
Jake Taylor - Cheltenham (League 2) Appearances: 3
Taylor played almost a full 90 as in the same game, being described as impressive in the club's official match report. Cheltenham's fans were also complimentary and it's good to see the midfielder getting a regular run of games after a summer of injury issues.
*****
Angus MacDonald - Torquay (League 2) Appearances: (+1)
MacDonald made his second Torquay debut as a first half substitute for the Gulls as they lost 1-0 to Phil Parkinson's Bradford. MacDonald came on after Torquay captain Brian Saah was dismissed and did ok, while picking up a booking as the 10-men lost by just a single goal.
*****
Karl Sheppard - Accrington (League 2) Appearances: 7(+5) Goals: 1
All Karl Sheppard wants for Christmas is a chance to play. His first year back in England hasn't exactly been a happy one...
*****
Brett Williams - Woking (Conference Premier) Appearances: 9(+9) Goals: 3
Brett Williams helped continue Woking's revival as he started in both of their wins over the past week, though wasn't able to get on the scoresheet.
*****
Ben Jefford - Old Loan: Boreham Wood (Conference South) Appearances: 2 Goals: 1 (Appearance data from 06/11/12)
New Loan: Basingstoke (Conference South) Appearances: 1
Basingstoke 1-0 Tonbridge.
Jefford made a fresh loan switch last week as he joined Basingstoke Town who are managed by former Reading player Jason Bristow and assistant boss Michael Gilkes. Jefford played all 90 minutes for his new team who earned a crucial 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Tonbridge Angels. Jefford was singled out for praise by Bristow after the game.
Ben Jefford, the player he brought in on work experience from Reading, made an excellent debut.
"I thought Ben Jefford was tremendous," the Town boss added. "He spent time on loan at Boreham Wood earlier this season, so he knows the level and he was very good on the ball."
*****
Matt Partridge - Bognor Regis (Isthmian League - Premier Division) Appearances: 8 Goals: 1
Bognor slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Kingstonian this weekend, with Partridge earning another start as his side slipped to defeat thanks to a penalty that saw them reduced to ten men.
