Reading FC Loan Report: December 10th

News of a fine debut for one on-loan Royals winger, while a defender continues to impress up in Scotland. All this and more in this week's Reading loan report.

Matthew Lewis

Michael Hector - Aberdeen (SPFL Premiership) Appearances:16 Goals: 1

Big Hec put in another fine display for Aberdeen as he helped his side win 2-0 at St Johnstone, who had Rory Fallon sent-off for lashing out at Hector. Dons fans were pleased with his performance and seem very keen to hold onto him past January, sadly for them the more he impresses the more likely he is to return to a Reading defence that hasn't covered itself in glory.

Mikkel Andersen - Randers (Danish Superliga) Appearances: 10 Clean Sheets: 1

Andersen spent another week warming the bench but did see his Randers side earn a vital 1-0 win over fellow relegation candidates Esbjerg, thanks to a 90th minute winner. The Danish Superliga is very tight right now with just six points serparating Brondby in fourth and second from bottom Esbjerg, in 11th.

Daniel Carrico - Sevilla (Liga BBVA) Appearances: 9 Goals 1

Carrico was rested this week as Sevilla beat Racing Santander 1-0 in the Copa Del Rey. He'll hope to return to the team on Thursday for their Europa League game with Freiburg.

Gozie Ugwu - Shrewsbury (SkyBet League One) Appearances: 4 Goals: 1

No game for the Shrews last weekend as they'd already been knocked out of the cup. Next up is a home game with Walsall, a team I always like to see lose.....

*****

Nick Arnold - Wycombe Wanderers (SkyBet League Two) Appearances: 10

Wycombe saw their FA Cup dreams ended with a 1-0 home defeat by Preston on Saturday, with Arnold not involved in the 18.

****

Lawson D'Ath - Dagenham & Redbridge (SkyBet League Two) Appearances: 0

D'Ath is still waiting for his Daggers debut as they were inactive this weekend, having been knocked out of the FA Cup in round 1 by Bristol City.

****

Ryan Edwards - Perth Glory (Australian A-League) Appearances: 9 Goals 0

Edwards played just under an hour as the Glory rallied from 2-1 down to beat the Wellington Phoenix 4-2.

****

Jon Henly - Aldershot (Conference Premier) Appearances: 7 Clean Sheets: 0

No game for Henly this week, with Aldershot also not in acton due to the FA Cup. The Shots will face Worcester City at home in the FA Trophy this weekend.

Shepherd Murombedzi - Bognor Regis Town (Ryman Premier League)  Appearances: 1  Goals: 1

Young winger Murombedzi started a month long loan spell at Bognor in fine fashion as he scored on his debut in a 5-3 win over Margate. The midfielder also won a penalty for Bognor and reading the match report it seems he had a fantastic impact for Town, who play in the seventh tier.
