Kaspars Gorkss - Wolves (Championshp) Appearances: 4
The arrival of Gorkss hasn't helped arrest Wolves slide down the table and the Latvian captain finds himself in a Championship relegation battle after two successive title run-ins.
There was little Gorkss could do in either of these games, with a good free-kick undoing them against Watford, while Cardiff are sweeping just about all before them.
*****
Joseph Mills - Burnley (Championship) Appearances: 9
Again another week goes by without an appearance from Mills. The full-back has still yet to make an appearance in 2013.
*****
Jordan Obita - Oldham (League 1) Appearances: 4 (+2) Goals: 1
Like his parent club, Obita's Oldham went down 3-1 at Goodison Park last week. The winger tried hard and showed some glimpses of quality, but was subbed after 55 minutes with his team 2-0 down.
Obita then had to make do with a substitute appearance at home to Sheffield United, but again his side lost, with Dave Kitson scoring the second of two goals for the Blades.
*****
Jake Taylor - Crawley (League 1) Appearances: 1
Taylor made a one-month loan move last week to join the League One side, and was immediately handed a debut, starting in a 2-0 win at Bury, with boss Richie Barker pleased with his performance.
"The thing is with Jake, he isn't an academy player who just comes here and wants to get on the ball, he has a really good understanding of his job and his responsibilities when he isn't on the ball," Barker said. "I thought he was excellent [at Bury]. We started out with a particular game plan, particularly in midfield. Jake Taylor and Matt Sparrow, and Dannie Bulman, were fantastic."

Michael Hector - Cheltenham (League 2) Appearances: 5 Goals: 0
Accrington 2-2 Cheltenham
Fleetwood 1-1 Cheltenham
Cheltenham 2-1 AFC Wimbledon
Hector will remain on loan for another month at Cheltenham after helping his side extend their unbeaten run to five games. The centre back picked up another booking against Accrington but played well under pressure in all three games according to Cheltenham fans on fans forums.

Angus MacDonald - Torquay (League 2) Appearances: 5 (+3)
An injury to Aaron Downes has given MacDonald a chance in recent weeks but the young defender hasn't been able to help the Gulls end a run of eight games without a win. It was nearly eight defeats in a row but for a disallowed goal at Accrington on Saturday and with just four points separating Torquay from the drop zone, MacDonald's chances of earning a permanent deal could rest on the next few weeks. At Accrington he was a man of the match contender, but doubts persist about his aerial ability.
Gozie Ugwu - Plymouth (League 2) Appearances: 2 (+3)
Another man involved in a League Two relegation battle is forward Gozie Ugwu, who finds himself in the relegation places with Plymouth. Ugwu started at Wimbledon but had to settle for two substitute appearances against Northampton and Barnet. He's yet to get off the mark and suffered a further blow when he was forced off injured just half an hour into a reserve game with Exeter. Hopefully it's not too serious for a player who's been blighted by injuries throughout the season.
*****
Karl Sheppard - Shamrock Rovers (League of Ireland - Premier Division) - Appearances: 3
Sheppard was back in the starting lineup for Shamrock against Wexford but wasted a golden chance to score his first goal of this loan spell when he missed an early penalty. Another start followed against Linfield but chances were again wasted while his defensive header fell straight to a Linfield player to score their only goal.
*****
Brett Williams - Woking (Conference Premier) Appearances: 12 (+14) Goals: 4 Red Cards: 1
Three substitute appearances for Williams this week and no goals. Not much more to say about it really.
