Loan Report: April 17

The loan front has quietened down a touch now that the window has closed and teams are more content to look at in house options with their seasons decided. Even so, there remain a few Royals involved for their loan clubs and we round up all of the action below.

Jan Kruger

Kaspars Gorkss - Wolves (Championshp) Appearances: 12

Real ups and downs for Gorkss this week as the Latvian defender saw his Wolves side go down 3-1 at home to fellow strugglers Huddersfield before battling back to beat promotion hopefuls Hull 1-0 last night.

Jay Tabb - Ipswich (Championship) Appearances: 5 (+1)

Tabb started last Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Hull but was forced off with a knee-injury just before half-time. Tabb missed last night's game with Crystal Palace but is hopeful of playing in the final three games of the campaign.

Joseph Mills - Burnley (Championship) Appearances: 10 (+1)

Mills has once again been left on the sidelines by Burnley who seem to have closed the book on his time at Turf Moor. With survival all but ensured and promotion out of the question, it makes sense to commit more time to players at the club permanently.

Michael Hector - Cheltenham (League 2) Appearances: 16 Goals: 1

Hector had a good game on Saturday, helping Cheltenham to beat already promoted Gillingham 1-0, with Big Hec scoring his first goal for the club in the process. You can see his header at around the 1 minute mark here.

Lawson D'Ath - Exeter (League 2) Appearances: 5 (+1) Goals: 1

Exeter halted a run of four straight defeats with a 2-2 draw at struggling Wimbledon. D'Ath played 80 minutes for the Devon side, with former Royal Jamie Cureton setting up both goals for Jamie Reid.

Angus MacDonald - Torquay (League 2) Appearances: 10 (+4)

MacDonald had to make do with a place on the bench as Torquay beat Barnet 3-2 last night.

Karl Sheppard - Shamrock Rovers (League of Ireland - Premier Division) - Appearances: 3 (+3)

Sheppard came on as a late sub during Rovers 7-0 win over Bray this weekend.

Brett Williams - Woking (Conference Premier) Appearances: 13 (+17) Goals: 4 Red Cards: 1

Nothing to see here, move along.
