Reading FC Loan Report- September 25th

Plenty of players are out on loan this month, with goals, assists and injuries across the board as Reading players cover Britain and the globe on various loan moves.

Clive Rose

Michael Hector- Aberdeen (SPFL Premiership) Appearances: 2 Goals: 0

Aberdeen 1-0 Inverness CT
Partick Thistle 0-3 Aberdeen

2 clean sheets and an assist have put Michael Hector up as an integral part of the Aberdeen team currently 3rd in the Scottish Premiership. Currently sitting 3rd, Abderdeen will round off the month away to St. Mirren as the Reading loanee continues to gain match experience, and winning experience. His first goal for the club is getting closer, too, with a far-post header being well-saved in the Inverness victory- one which ended Caley’s unbeaten start to the season.

Mikkel Andersen- Randers (Danish Superliga) Appearances: 2 Clean Sheets: 0

Vestsjaelland 2-0 Randers
Randers 3-2 Aab

First team football in his native Denmark for a competent team was always the aim with this loan, and Mikkel Andersen has been getting exactly that so far this season. Randers, 7th in their league, lost then won against teams above them in the table in the last fortnight, conceding 4 in the process. Mikkel also picked up a yellow card late on in the comeback win against Aab.

Daniel Carrico- Sevilla (Liga BBVA) Appearances: 0

While Sevilla sit bottom of La Liga Daniel is unable to help their cause, still sidelined with a thigh strain.

****

Nick Arnold- Wycombe Wanderers (SkyBet League Two) Appearances: 2

Exeter 0-2 Wycombe
Hartlepool 1-2 Wycombe

Sitting on the bench for the last two Chairboys’ games, Arnold started the JPT win at Exeter before a win in Hartelpool, being subbed off in both matches. Impressive form have put Wycombe into 6th place in League Two, with 20-year old Arnold becoming a regular feature of their matchday squads.

****

Matt Partridge- Basingstoke Town (Conference South) Appearances: 1 Goals: 1

Bromley 3-2 Basingstoke

A goal on debut for academy player Partridge got his month loan spell at Basingstoke underway with aplomb, but the defeat sits his new team 8th in the table, 2 points outside the play-off zone after 8 games.

****

Ryan Edwards- Perth Glory (Australian A-League)

Only a couple of weeks for Ryan’s season to get underway, who travel to Adelaide United on 13th October.
