QPR 1-1 Reading FC: Player Ratings

You've read the report but how did Reading's players stack up in Dave's eyes at Loftus Road?

Ali Al-Habsi: 5

Slow to react to the threat for their goal, distribution pretty terrible, reasonably safe hands otherwise.

Chris Gunter: 6

Pretty standard Gunter fare today, never overly troubled in defence, one or two decent crosses and some questionable choices of pass. Strange decision to let the ball come through to him in an advanced position when 2 players covering were clearly going to cut it out. Got forward to support the attack.

Liam Moore: 6

Nothing especially stand out about his performance in terms of highlights but so calm and assured in defence that he never gave cause for concern and won the majority of his aerial battles. Class act when it comes to his touch and control bringing the ball down.

Joey van den Berg: 6

Solid at the back, ball often played out through him and towards the end was driving things up in the final third.

Tyler Blackett: 4

At fault for their goal, didn't look comfortable and offered little going forward.

George Evans: 7

Good performance, tackled well and protected the back four, willing to get a foot in and win back possession. Woeful shot towards the death.

John Swift: 5

A few flashes here and there but largely forgettable performance and nowhere near with his shots.

Danny Williams: 7

Constant force going forwards, looked up for the game more than any other, took his goal well and was close to adding to his tally.

Roy Beerens: 5

Largely anonymous. Improved somewhat after the interval when switched with McCleary on opposite flanks, but seemed like he didn't want to be on the wing.

Yann Kermorgant: 6

Cleared about every QPR corner with his head, held up the ball and won a lot in the air again but no real chances and was caught offside when closest to having a real shot on target.

Garath McCleary: 7

Excellent performance, clearly happy to be back. Took on his man and created chances consistently.

Substitutes

Jordan Obita: 6

Decent after coming on but nothing much to write home about.

Callum Harriott: N/A

Didn't have much time to make and impact, and didn't make one.
