We asked and you voted, who did you want in a Reading FC team made up of all those who'd featured for the club in 2015?
Unsurprisingly few that featured in our worst league season in more than a decade made the cut with only loanee Jamie Mackie and keeper Adam Federici earning enough votes to make the starting lineup.
SUBSTITUTES: Bond, Ferdinand, Pearce, Tshibola, Karacan, Robson-Kanu, Sa
*****
There was a little bit more love for last year's side on the bench with both Jem Karacan and Alex Pearce making it but Pavel Pogrebnyak failed to make the cut.
Hopefully 2016 will be a bit more fiercely contested because honestly this team all but picked itself both from my own point of view and those of the voters. While having a strong decisive first XI is far from a bad thing, you do want some competition and that's something that never really happened despite high expectation heading into this season at least.
That team takes its place alongside our other award winners of 2015, which were voted on our Christmas Podcast and you can find out who won what here.
